Mr David FuFCIS FCS(PE)President, HKICSMr David Fu joined the Swire group as a Group Management Trainee in 1988 and has worked with the group in Hong Kong and Beijing. He is responsible for the full spectrum of the group’s company secretarial functions, and is currently the Company Secretary of John Swire & Sons (H.K.) Limited, Swire Pacific Limited (stock code: 19), Swire Properties Limited (stock code: 1972) and Cathay Pacific Airways Limited (stock code: 293).
Mr Fu is currently the President of The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries (HKICS). He is also a member of the Human Resources Committee, as well as the Convenor of the HKICS Prize Judging Panel. David was admitted as a Fellow of HKICS and ICSA in 2012. He was elected as a Council member of HKICS in 2014 and served on its Education Committee as a member from 2014 to 2015 and as the Chairman from 2016 to 2017. He has been the Honorary Secretary of The Oxford and Cambridge Society of Hong Kong since 1999.
Mr Fu has been a member of the Takeovers and Mergers Panel and the Takeovers Appeal Committee of the Securities and Futures Commission since April 2015. He has been a member of the Standing Committee on Company Law Reform since February 2017.
Mr Fu graduated from the University of Oxford in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Engineering, Economics and Management and obtained a Master of Arts degree from the University of Oxford in 1991. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Corporate Administration from the City University of Hong Kong.

He is a fellow of the ICAEW and HKICPA with over 25 years of experience in the accounting profession. He is the Head of Accounting Affairs at the HKEX's Listing Division responsible for accounting and auditing matters, including the Exchange's financial statements review program. He is also a member of the HKICPA Financial Reporting Standards Committee, the Auditing and Assurance Standards Committee and the Professional Standards Monitoring Expert Panel. He was previously a member of its Sustainability and Integrated Reporting Advisory Group.
He is also involved with HKICPA's Best Corporate Governance Disclosure Awards and The Hong Kong Management Association Best Annual Reports Awards as a member of the judging panels. He is a regular speaker at events on the Exchange’s financial statements review program relating to accounting and disclosure of financial information in listing rules.

Mr David Simmonds is the Group General Counsel, Chief Administrative Officer and Company Secretary of CLP Holdings Limited (Stock code: 2).
David is responsible for the corporate secretarial affairs of CLP Holdings Limited and its subsidiaries along with the Group’s corporate governance practices. He leads an experienced and dedicated team of company secretarial professionals.

Ms Edith Shih FCIS FCS(PE) is Executive Director and Company Secretary of CK Hutchison Holdings Limited, a Fortune 500 company with an annual revenue of about US$60 billion, at which she heads up a team of over 230 legal counsels and 60 corporate secretarial executives, stationed in 60 offices in 20 countries. Ms Shih has been with the CK Hutchison Group for 30 years, overseeing legal, regulatory, corporate finance and compliance matters of the Group. In addition, she acts as Director and Company Secretary of subsidiaries and associated companies of the CK Hutchison Group, overseeing the management of such businesses, including listed companies in Hong Kong, London, New York and Singapore and Sydney.
Ms Shih is the International President and the Chairman of the Executive Committee of ICSA. She is Past President of HKICS and was Chairman and member of various Committees and Panels. Currently she is the Chairman of the Nomination Committee and ICSA/HKICS Name Working Group.
Ms Shih holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Master of Arts (Education) from the University of the Philippines and a Master of Arts (TESOL) degree and a Master of Education (Applied Linguistics) degree from Columbia University, New York. Mr Mark Hughes is a partner at Slaughter and May, Hong Kong, in the firm’s Asia Investigations and Dispute Resolution Practice. Mr Datwani was formerly Global Partner of a leading US international law firm, in which he had to originate a book, and to carry out transactional, advisory and litigious work with his team in Hong Kong and the US including obtaining a US$2 billion judgment and related fraud recovery. He then joined a client and became General Counsel and senior management of a listed company with investments in frontier markets, helping to grow the company to a Morgan Stanley Capital International Hong Kong constituent. He was also a former Board Member of a US listed company, and now serves a number of Government boards to contribute legal, governance and management perspectives as public service.
