HKICS 11th biennial Corporate Governance Conference (CGC)
Corporate Governance: The New Horizon
Since 1998, our corporate governance conferences have established a reputation as a premier forum for exploring practical solutions to emerging corporate governance issues. This year's conference (CGC programme) draws on an impressive line-up of speakers, including The Honourable Mr James Lau JP and Professor Mervyn King, to address frontier topics for corporate governance practitioners. How is governance best practice changing in the current business and social environment? Are you prepared for the growing impacts of digital technologies? How will changing stakeholder expectations on issues such as data privacy, competition and sustainability impact your business?
Whether you are a director, manager, company secretary, lawyer, accountant, or otherwise involved in the governance endeavour, come and join the debate. As in previous years, the conference has been designed to allow for maximum participation by conference attendees via our electronic voting system and extended Q&A sessions. You can look forward to a lively debate of all the top issues in governance in the company of global and local thought leaders.
This year's corporate governance conference will be the culmination of our Corporate Governance Week, organised in the lead up to the Institute's double anniversary (next year marks the 70th anniversary of our local presence and 25th anniversary of incorporation). More information on the events of our Corporate Governance Week can be found on our website.
